ménnètto usinátutto nawán on kras yo nùstánnonston

/'men.nɛt.t‿u.si'na.tut.to na'wan on χas jo nʌs'tan.nons.ton/

"Thank the gods because it is two from week half!"

The Helyans measure time in week periods of 14 days, with a break on the 6th and 7th days of each cycle, with a numbering system similar to Roman day naming, where the days were "X days before the Ides of March" etc.

Gratent Deum y est Jóvas.

Thank[3rd person singular present subjunctive] god[accusative] that be[3rd person singular present] Friday(fossilised form from the genitive of "Jupiter" (Iuppiter) in Latin, in terms of the days of the week, the meanings have changed and only 2 from Latin remain: "dies Iovis" was thursday in Latin, but is Friday in my conlang. "Dies Saturni" is still saturday though. The rest aren't of Latin origin)
